Application Process

Image Application Process - Step 1
Apply Surface Pre-Treatment to the intended surface, clean thoroughly using a grey scotchbrite then apply additional Surface Pre-Treatment to the area. Clean off the cleaner with a clean, white (preferred) cloth.
Make sure that the cloth has no residue after cleaning. If so, repeat until no residue is visible other delamination is likely.
Important: Do not allow the Surface Pre-Treatment to dry on the surface. Spray and wipe while the substrate is wet.
Image Application Process - Step 2
Place the aerosol in luke warm water for 2 minutes (this will help in atomisation and a more even spray), then remove and shake for 10 seconds.

Apply the colour from a distance of 10cm (4 inches) of the substrate. Start from the side/edge with a 50-60% overlap in a smooth continuous motion. Don’t try to obtain coverage with 1 coat, slowly build the colour for desired result.

Important: Applying too close will cause fish-eyeing. If this happens, simply wash the coating off with the Surface Pre-Treatment and start again.

Allow a 30 second flash off time between coats. When the desired colour is achieved the top coat can be applied.
Note: Prior to applying the top-coat you can complete an adhesion test on an inconspicuous area.
Image Application Process - step 3
Apply the top-coat clear finish. For optimum UV protection apply 2-3 coats and allow 5-10 minutes between coats.

Bake for 40 minutes at 60 degrees or allow to dry overnight.
